County Court Three is a statutory county court, created by the legislature in 2001. County Court #3 began functioning as a court on October 1, 2001 with jurisdiction over misdemeanor cases, family and juvenile matters, as well as civil cases.

   The court is located on the second floor of The Galveston County Justice Center
